Ashley Bowling
Director of Finance & Operations
Ashley runs the business side of Kastner Gravelle, applying critical thinking across Finance, Strategy, Information Technology, and Biz Ops. She’s all about turning big ideas into real results and making things work better, faster, and smarter. She champions values-based decision making, balancing the quantitative aspects of data with the qualitative nature of humans.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashley spent over a decade providing on-site consulting services that drove business results through operational efficiency, FP&A, and organizational design improvements. Her clients ranged from Georgia’s largest private company to family offices and even confectioneries. As an active participant in several angel investment groups, Ashley leveraged her practical experience to conduct diligence and advise portfolio companies. Ashley held impactful roles at Fortune 500 companies, including departmental COO at Morgan Stanley, Transformation AVP at MetLife, and Strategic Initiatives Lead at Truist. Ashley kicked off her career at EY Consulting, where she built a foundation in technology program management and an appreciation for managing professional service firms.
Ashley supports non-profit organizations focused on empowerment and served on the boards of the Bobby Dodd Institute, YWCA, and HBS Club of Atlanta. Her community involvement has also included the Morgan Library & Museum, NYC Downtown Association, Shepherd Center Hospital, and Krewe of Muses. A native of New Orleans, Ashley moved to Austin from NYC for the city’s optimistic startup vibe and the possibility of SUP during lunch breaks. Ashley earned a BBA with Distinction from Emory University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
