Ryan Gravelle

Ryan Gravelle has 20-plus years of experience working with startup and emerging growth companies in the technology and consumer goods spaces, both private practice and as an in-house legal executive. Before founding Kastner Gravelle LLP in 2010, Ryan was SVP and General Counsel for nGenera Corporation, a VC-backed enterprise SaaS collaboration and productivity company.  Ryan has managed numerous buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions, helped clients raise hundreds of millions of dollars in venture debt and equity financing, and structured complex strategic alliances and partnerships.  Ryan works with companies from pre-formation startups to mature, public companies, focusing on transaction support, governance, cap table management and other general corporate needs.

Prior to nGenera, Ryan was on Dell Inc.’s legal team, where he supported Dell’s professional services business segment, and spent several years with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a Silicon Valley-based law firm specializing in representation of technology companies. He sits on the board of directors of Naturally Austin, a non-profit supporting the natural products industry, and was previously a director of the Austin Parks Foundation.  Ryan is a member of the steering committee of the Austin Chapter of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and he also previously served as a director for the Austin Music Foundation, as well as a member of the technology committee of the Texas Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission.

Ryan received his law degree from The University of Virginia School of Law. He received a B.A. in English and Political Science from Rice University.
